The root of the problem lies in the fact that the majority of Americans just DON'T CARE about what their government does outside America, as long as it doesn't directly affect THEM, or THEIR car/house/etc. A short sighted and ignorant take, no doubt. It's only natural for the US Govt. to take the necessary (in their opinion) steps to ensure an upper hand in the world economy and protect its own interests. Let us break down the word conspiracy.
A conspiracy is a thought pattern that occurs when a person does not believe the "official" version of events that is being circulated thus triggering a desire to search evidence to support an opposing event line , much as a detective would do if someone was murdered and the prime suspect had evidence contradicting popular belief that he or she commited the crime. Now can we trust the goverment to pursue every avenue much as the detective would?
