I've watched it 3 times. I don't see any stumble. He says he voted against the bill because he felt the interest cap was too high and there had been no discussion about it.
Edwards asked, "so you voted against it because you thought the limit was too high?" and he replied, "yes. That is exactly what I said."
Seems fine to me.

We are in a national economic crisis and Obama doesn't want to cap interest rates? Why does Obama think people can't pay their payments. If he thought the cap was too high, why didn't he write legislation to make the cap smaller? Why? Because the credit industry has given him $5 million for his campaign.
