No, what the private companies did was exploit lower class families with promises of "rebuilding a desolate nation" and instead KNOWINGLY put them in harms way. Not to mention sent them out into war zones undertrained and unprepared. The taxpayers are usually the ones rolling up their sleeves and paying for weaponry and military supplies DUH! They wouldn't have to hire private contractors if they had the manpower. To do these dedicated jobs, without contractors. They complain about the situation in this clip. They still went for the money though didn't they. Here's your Ultimatum then. We won't use private contractors for Security in Forign Lands. Well you are of course correct. America is controlled by massive corporations who have profits exceeding even wealthy countries. They are the ones who fund the election campaigns of political parties and who own the media. Most of the information that people consume comes from them. Only the internet gives an alternative view and much of that is controlled by the elites too. It is a simple fact. Democracy is a sham. A tick in a box once every five years or so is not democracy.
