2008 democrats looked beyond race and religion in the last election.
Where are the racists now? *hint* when someone refers to Obama as a "yard ape" or other racist remark, ask then which party they voted for. I bet my paycheck not a single one of them will say "democrat".

It was a republican majority that passed the civil rights act not democrats. Republicans overcame a democrat filibuster. The Jim Crowe segregation laws were democrat. The KKK went well into the 20th century, need I remind you there is currently a sitting democrat congressman who used to be a Klan leader. Since then Democrats have enslaved black people to welfare programs like a drug keeping many in poverty.Planned parenthood was founded as a genocidal group, targeting black children. Your blind.

@macdogq Of course you are right, but the people who made this video do not want that to be known, they want to just say "rep or dem", when in reality the defining factor of racism was conservative or Liberal. Liberal, meaning most personal freedom and less government naturally hated racism. Conservative meaning wanting to conserve existing powers and traditions, wanted to go back to the slave days.

@cosmicforums But something happened after then. When conservatives went over to the republican party and Nixon was elected, liberals took over the Democratic party (voters, and potential candidates). Today , the Democratic party plays race card because of a black president, accusing the today's conservatives as being racist when it is no longer a factor in conservatism. I don't think liberal means "personal freedom", and "less government". it is the opposite.

@macdogq You are mixing idiologies with parties. This is a common mistake today. Both parties are NOT what they used to be in the time of Lincoln, as this video tries to suggest. Of COURSE both parties have racists in them. You apparently have not been paying attention to many people in the Republican party calling Obama "porch monkey", "yard ape", and calling Michelle "wookie". I dont hear Democrats saying that. Please look up the definitions of "liberal" and "conservative".

@hypnyxx Right, because white people NEVER get entitlements, welfare, and outright lies from Democrats or republicans..When the republicans are in power all welfare and entitlements stop, No more welfare for anyone (bullcrap!), but when the democrats go in office they only give them to black people...and the color of the sky in your world is green. Your message, of course, misses the mark, as nobody said that white trash assholes aren't collecting food stamps and other services that should be banned except for cripples and the elderly. Kids needing food stamps can mow yards. I'm serious. No able bodied assholes living off taxpayers anymore. Game over!
